Pamgram.

Pangram.

Today we got into a group of three with people we had never worked with we had to share the document and write a pamgram.  A pamgram is a sentence that uses all the letters in the alphabet.

My weekend.

My weekend.

On Friday after school I went to go to a glow party were you put on white clothes and you glow in the dark. I wore white nothing but white. Before the glow party started we were outside there were 2 huge bouncy castles. There was pop corn and pink candy floss. Inside there were 2 mini basketball games. There was a drawing table and stencale table, looming table, ballon making table, bring a friend table, creating table and there was air hockey and table soccer. We played there for most of the time then we came to the auditorium and had the glow and dance party. Thre were stage games and a teaching. There were prizes if you won the stage game or if you were the first person to put your hands on your head when ever they said chocolate pancakes. I got three prizes 1 was one that they throw in the crowd the other 2 was for putting my hands on my head when they said chocolate pancakes. When you left you got your own massive long glowing light that you could put on and off.

Term 4 blog about the week 1.

This week we had a money week we went on a money web site to figer out what type of money style you were. My money style was a thoughtful spender.

For inquiry we studied two different types of buggies

Inquiry buggy survey

This term we have been learning about Inventions and inventors so we looked at a buggie the things on a buggy, how buggies have changed through the years and what makes a good buggy. We had to get into pairs Jasmine and I started making a survey that we could give to the mums with prams. br  we had to ask a variety of questions to help as make the best type of buggie. We asked the 5 mums 8 questions about there buggies all of the questions were the same. after interviewing the 5 mums we saw all the things that we needed to make our awesome buggie.

Wearable Art.

On Monday the 10 of August our class started on making wearable about of recyclable things everyone bought in. What my buddy and I wanted to achieve making our bubble wrap dress.
All was going well until we wanted to make the toilet roll chane then my buddy didn't want to do it.so to fill the flat bit of bubble wrap we puffed up some of the long bit of bubble wrap and instead of going from short to long with our skirt we made a short skirt and added a trail at the back. On Tuesday we started with our shirt and shoes on the shirt we took stripes of news paper and put layers on it. And we put short stripes of  news paper on our shoes .


Yesterday we completed the dress ,and today we completed our shoes and our shirt.

We had difficulty with tapping the layers on the shoes.

We found out that we had to cut the back of he shirt

Rapunzel

​On Monday at 11am the year 4,5,6s went to a rapunzel show in the rapunzel show there were three actors Ben,Jack, Jane. They all wore heaps of diffrent out fits at diffrent stages. In the rapunzel show they had afar far away talent show and X factor idol 4 people auditioned and then rapunzel auditioned and sang a song called yellow. Then she won the show she was told to sign a contract but everything in the contract was against her will so she didn't sign it .the gadge was called Simon cow then he stole her voice and cut of her hair then prince rapid came and rapped to her she learnt how to rap. Then she marched into the stadium and started telling off Simon Cowl.

Squash reflection

At squash we learnt how to play real squash and we practiced how to keep passing to a partner with out dropping the ball we split into 4 teams and played four different squash games. Here is a Photo I loved squash because I always try to beat my goals but some times I don't  and sometimes I wouldn't prefer it squash is one thing I like and might be a good squash player one day.

In AFL we learnt how to do the drop punt, hand ball, bounce, chest mark, hand mark, speckie mark and ruck.At the last two practices we play an actual games. We had to get in buddy's and practice our skill's we learnt. My favourite skill was drop punt because drop punt and hand ball are the easiest ways to pas.here is a

Koru Art.

At art miss Akridge has taught as about koru's. She taught as what koru mean's. Koru represents growth and family.  Here is a link to my art.and blending pastal colours.we did 4 drafts in our art book the we took an A3 piece of paper for our good copy after we finished we got some pastels and started to colour in the picture and blend the colours.I loved doing art with miss Akridge .

Maui Dolphins

The Maui dolphin is a mauri dolphin it is a maui dolphin is 1.2 -1.4 meters long a bottle-nose dolphin is 4 meters long the difference between the 2 dolphins are 2.8 meters. Maui dolphins are special because they are a sub-specie of the hector dolphin. The Maui dolphin has a different type of fin then other dolphins.

Maths intervention

Equal measurement
At maths intervention we learnt about equal measurement.
If we had a zip lock bag with a bull dooz klip and five rubber bands tied to it. We put a big pin in one of the desks tie the rubber bands to it, then put some marbles in the bag and drop it from the desk. After it got dropped from the desk and it is still again you measure the rubbers bands with a ruler.you have to measure it three times to get an average then you write the three down at them together divide them by three because that's how many trial you had.then you get your average then add some more marbles to the bag and try it out again you this least five times then you make a skater plot.picture of a skater plot.http://www.regentsprep.org/regents/math/algebra/ad4/PracPlot.htm
Then we have to add more bands and do it again.

Tread Lightly Caravan.

This week my learning has been recycling we went to the tread lightly caravan to learn more about sustainability.

I found out that if someone threw there phone away and it ended up in the dump it's poison would be bad for the future.

I wonder if all of the people in the world used a power bike how tired we all would be at the end of the day.

The most difficult part was getting the kettle to work by just pedalling because the kettle needs heaps of power to work and get the water boiled on the right temperature.

Now I know that the best light blob to use is an led light blob because it saves the most energy and uses the least amount of energy. 

My next step is to use plastic contaners instead of plastic bags.
